Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Sold Simple app collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
Sold Simple LLC operates the Sold Simple mobile application. You can reach us at devan@soldsimple.co with any question about this policy or your data.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Email address. Used to create your account and sign you in. We send a one-time numeric code to your email each time you log in; we do not store a password.
- Property address. The address of the home you're selling, which you enter or select from an address suggestion list.
- Photographs of the property. Photos you take or upload of the home.
- Property and sale details. Information you enter about the home and your sale, including listing price, condition details, showings, and offers you record.
Information generated by using the app
- Valuation and assessment output. Estimates, condition assessments, and written guidance the app produces for your property.
- Basic technical and diagnostic data. Standard information needed to operate and debug the service, such as error reports and request logs.
We do not collect your contacts, precise device location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not use tracking for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it

- To produce a valuation, condition assessment, and step-by-step guidance for your property
- To save your progress so you can return to it
- To operate, debug, and improve the service
- To respond when you contact us
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party services to run the app. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- Supabase — stores your account and your saved property data.
- Resend — delivers your one-time sign-in codes by email.
- Anthropic — processes property information and photographs to generate valuation reasoning, condition assessments, and written guidance.
- RentCast — supplies comparable property sales data for the area around your address.
- Google Maps Platform — provides address suggestions, place search, and street-level imagery.
- Vercel — hosts the server layer that connects the app to the services above.
- Apple — distributes the app and, during our beta, provides TestFlight, which collects its own crash and feedback data under Apple's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if we're legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data and associated property records. Backups and routine system logs may persist for a limited period afterward before being overwritten.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. You can view and edit your property information in the app at any time.
- Deletion. Email us at devan@soldsimple.co to request deletion of your account and data.
- Photographs. Providing a photo is optional in the sense that you control which images you upload; the app's condition assessment depends on it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to request a copy of your data, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Contact us and we'll honor any right that applies to you.
Security
Access to your data requires signing in with a one-time code sent to your email. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and our database restricts each account to its own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
Children
Sold Simple is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
